Our guiding is exclusively on the Cass Lake
Minnesota Chain of Lakes.  The Cass Lake Chain is
approximately 26,000 acres of prime muskie and
walleye waters consistently ranked in the top ten
for both species.

With eight different lakes, two river flowages and
your choice of dark & clear water there is something
for every circumstance.  The structure of the chain
is second to none, massive reed & cabbage beds,
rock piles, sand flats, sharp break lines and ledges
abound.  Also adding to the structure and scenery
of the main lake are its beautiful islands with the
famous Star Island in the middle.                                                                                                                                

Many people enjoy the Cass Lake Chain for the challenge that it offers.  Known for being an
angler’s body of water you will find it does not yield up its bounty with ease.  Most people do
not go home empty handed but wonder why they did not cash-in on the numbers of fish they
had dreamt about.  That is where First Choice Guide Service can help.

With 16 years experience on these waters we can help you locate and learn how to target the
fish of your choice.  Specializing in muskie and walleye, we also guide secondarily for pike and
jumbo perch.

   We guide during open water and hard water 
   seasons, offering half-day and full-day trips.
   All equipment and bait is provided, just bring 
   your food and beverages.  Pick-up can be at              
   any public access or resort.  Please feel free

Rates

The prices are as follows:  This is for the amount of hours you will fish!  We don't count driving all over the lake against your fishing time!  Please allow time on the 8 and 12 hour outings for breaks if you want to split the day up.  We don't take you out on cookie cutter trips either.  Outings will be planned around peak feeding windows for those people who wish to put all the cards in their favor.  A $75 deposit is required to secure your date and will be refunded if you cancel 30 days prior to your trip.
